Openly gay Westlife singer Mark Feehily has embarked on a new business venture – setting up his own catering van.The former boyband member – who raked in a string of hits before the band split up in 2012 – revealed he is now running a catering van, selling crepes and coffees.Westlife singer Mark Feehily announced his engagement last week on Twitter. Gately announced he was gay in 1999, at the height of Boyzone’s fame. The star and his boyfriend Kevin Mc Daid got engaged on their fifth anniversary. Following Gately’s death in October, Feehily said: “Stephen was extremely brave. They have not revealed a date for their civil partnership. He was the first member of a boyband to come out, and, in hindsight, it helped me and probably lots of other gay lads to understand their sexuality and come out.
“It’s exciting to be able to go into the studio with no rule box and no formua…Everyone ends up laughing when he poses with a stool in a nod to his boyband days (Westlife were famously known as the group who sat on stools until the key change at the end of every song).Nicky poses with the stool - balancing it on his nose at one point - before kicking it away playfully in a gesture that says "boyband, begone".The group was established on 3 July 1998 with the addition of two more members, Nicky Byrne and Bryan Mc Fadden.Boyzone singer Ronan Keating was brought in to co-manage the group with Walsh. If the radio career was ever to fall apart, Nicky could easily pick up work on the modelling front.
